According to another story on MSNBC on a recent poll, the public’s faith in the economy continues to plunge.

There are some reasonable things that can be done. Despite the problems many people are facing as a result of the recession there are some actions you can take to lessen your stress. Let me illustrate my point with an illustration. Let’s say you lived somewhere in the middle of the country. Imagine you have 10 acres of land with a nice four bedroom home situated on your land. It is nice pleasant spring day in Nebraska.

The sky is clear as a bell, it warm & pleasant with the sun shining above you. When in an instant without warning, a tornado hits your house. When you discover it you & your family barely escape with your lives to your underground shelter.

It is the worst storm in history! When the storm is over you then discover that everything is completely destroyed. Your house is gone along with everything in it. Your vehicles are also destroyed.

Your crops are destroyed. You have lost everything! So with that picture in mind, I want you to answer these questions honestly… How are you going to feel? Are you going to come to the conclusion that the situation is hopeless, then give up?

Or are you going to pick your chin up then view this situation as a grand opportunity to make improvements on your new house that you will soon with strategic planning rebuild. Also the crops & new equipment you may receive. Your thinking is important. Why?

Because as time goes on, more & more research seems to indicate, that the outcome of any given situation is greatly influenced by your subconscious mind, your attitude, then how you view your situation. Then your success or lack of success is also determined by how you think.

It is that critical. Which indicate the actions that follow? So, it is absolutely essential that you if find you have a negative outlook, then you must be resolved to correct it. How? Although, this may seem harder to do then you think.

You must start strategic planning to reprogram your mind with positive thinking. This is done by guarding what you feed your mind on.

Do you find that you watch the news, or read the newspaper or anything that is often negative in nature? If so, why not change that too? To do that, you need to start reading or watching motivational, positive things instead. Also how about your friends?

Do you tend to hang around negative people or positive people? This is also going to influence your attitude as well.

Many of us may find it hard to believe that your attitude can have such an impact. I am here to tell you that it does define your path in life. Let me ask you a question? If attitude is not a factor. Why is it that the truly successful people are positive?

Have you ever met a successful person who has a negative outlook on life? Probably not, right? That is the point.
